To all the negative posters here alluding to ATMS and scammers.

IF YOU CANT GET A GOOD WOMAN IN YOUR OWN COUNTRY YOU PROBABLY CANT ANYWHERE!!

A friend of mine bounces from shitty woman to shitty woman , he's been scammed , cheated on , beat up , cuckolded and lied too by a string of women. He's starting to develop a very negative attitude to them. Guess what ...they were all english girls.

The problem is clearly his ability to judge the character of a woman.

I suggest you negative guys take a good look at yourselves before stereo typing 30,000,000 women based on race. Theres a name for that kind of thinking.

Im 39 and I've been very happily married to a lovely Thai women for 6 years and we have a beautiful baby boy together . So "in your face" racist fools!!! tongue.pngwai.gif

I see two buffalos in that picture...one appears to be the lessor spotted european buffalo...zoom out on the picture and one will observe the MacMansion and "truck"

Not in the least...dark skinned Isaan ladies are not my "thing" and either is living in rice paddy in Nakon Nowhere...

But it does seem my rather sacastic post has gone right over your head and has wrongly been associated with envy somehow..

In the UK RSPCA would have been called in to do something about the poor malnourished beast.

I've never seen such a skinny looking buffalow.

With all the negative comments on here about this couple (that likely no one knows), makes me want to hide my wedding pics. You all have to see the ugly #$*& that the beautiful Mrs. Shock married (poor lass). But we are still happy after 16 years. And that's all that matters. Can't anyone be happy for each other anymore? Or is it easier making disparaging comments about people that you don't know and have a chance at happiness than facing up to your own shallowness?

As another poster commented, the glass is half full or...

Not enough info to say if he's being skinned alive or not.. How long have they known each other ? Where did he meet her, in a bar in Pattaya ? Was it his first Thai holiday and Thai girlfriend ? They look nice together and nice photos and I hope it works out well for them both.

But my advice would be don't build her a house on the rice farm as it will not be in his name ! The girl or the family will end up with it, if things do go wrong in the future ! Every one gets married thinking that marriage will last forever , but in reality many do not !

It's amazing how such an innocuous story of two people quite obviously in love can elicit such ugly hatred. The puerile accusations and crass generalisations flowing through this thread are staggering.

Why would anyone give a damn what pics a photographic studio chooses to put on Facebook to advertise its services. The pics are obviously promotional and not a real couple. Koko looks like a model and I believe I have seen her in action on some well known porn sites. The shirtless farang is obviously some drifter on an extended holiday.

Even if they were a real couple, this would still be a non-story. People must have extremely empty lives to make this go 'viral'.

The only thing I'm seeing is another viral degenerate with NPD and a one track mind. (Post # 27)

Mai rou krab but i guess the older people have problems with these very sexy photo's? Guess they have never been to Patong, Patpong, Soi Cowboy or Pattaya?

Says nothing of where he picked her up. Obviously he is a good younger catch( not an old geezer old enough to be her father or grandfather AND a "Businessman!!.) and the mother and rest of family must be absolutely delighted and his ATM Card will work overtime.. Sin sot must have been pretty hefty too for Isaan People and a nice nest egg for the "Old Girl". The MOTHER rules the roost and all the daughter are brainwashed to find a Farang with a good and SOLID ATM card from birth, no matter what it entails or looks like. Those are FACTS.!! Ticket for life for all of them ( if it lasts that long.) Hope he realises he will "marry" the entire FAMILY. Then the Luk Kreung Children follow and will bring some problems and end up with two different cultures. Which one to adopt? Majority of Luk Kreung are very beautiful children but they do not have such an easy time amongst other pure blood THAI Children. Experienced and saw that many times. Wish them the best of luck and happiness together though.

Ive been coming here for 20 years , since my teens...married to a lovely thai woman and have many thai friends. Many of whom come from Issan.

The lust for money is not an Issan problem. Its a very human one. Any culture that has experienced deep poverty values wealth and chases it. Brazil , kenya , china , ukraine etc etc. You will find the same thinking everywhere that lacks a welfare state.

These are really nice photos, so I really don't understand any of the criticisms thrown at this couple.... not all thai girls and/or woman work in bars, nor in it only for the money. There are a fair share of bad apples out there just like in every country in the world, but most of us decided to come to Thailand because at least our chances of finding peace are much more better then trying to find it in the Industrial world. Apparently, this guy found his peace... and very beautiful, to say the least

why did this guy not stand up to the photographer and insist on wearing a respectible long sleeve or clean pressed short sleeve shirt?

was it a need to 'fit in' somehow? be thai? to be like lower class rural thais who sit around drinking shirtless?

he may want to wear a shirt do at the wedding meethinks

pretty much sums it up in a nutshell for any country at an important occassion, unless your going tribal

You could knock up a house in Isaan for 500,000 baht

If this guy is like a fly in fly out oil and gas guy or similar, will earn that in 2 months

Given he is so young, and planning on marriage, probably thinking of kids

For those of us that work on and off, and when on its, 12+ hr shifts 6 days a week, for 2 or four weeks,,,,i.e, you cant do anything else when working.

This kind of situation is the perfect situation

Smoking hot thai girl ( who cares what the thais think of isaanites), excellent genes, good looking kids.

So it might all go south later on, and you loose a $15/20 thousand dollar home, whoop di doo

Agree %100. Why does everyone put them down. I wish them the best of luck in their relationship. There are many Thai/Farang relationships that work but we only hear about the disasters.

And what class do you come from? Surely at Eton and Cambridge you were taught how to spell words like "respectible" (sic) and write proper sentences in your mother tongue, "meethinks."

Sadly, "meethinks" that an Isaan buffalo has more class than your Lordship.

This is a wonderful heart warming post. It is simply beautiful and represents what many people in the world wish to could do and be. Congratulations to the bride and groom. Thirty one years ago I had a similar start like this in Udorn Thani. God has been good to me all these years while living in 9 different provinces.
