BANGKOK:-- Police have launched a murder investigation after the body of an unidentified foreign man was found inside a large sports bag or holdall that had been thrown into a canal in Bangkok, reports Thaivisa News.

The gruesome discovery was made on Sunday afternoon when a worker from a nearby factory saw what looked looked like part of a human head and shoulder protruding from the bag in Ong Ang canal at Phra Nakhon, close to the Samran Rat intersection.

Bangkok’s acting police chief Sanit Mahathaworn said that police believe the man to be an Indian national between 150-160 centimeters tall, who had been dead for approximately three days.

Pol Lt Gen Sanit added that following an initial forensic examination police believe the victim had been murdered after being hit with a hard object resulting in wounds all over his body, with blows to the head and neck proving to be fatal.

The man was found to be wearing only underwear although other items of clothing were found in the bag, along with some bags of confectionery.

Police say one line of inquiry is that the man was murdered due a conflict over a business dealing or property purchase.

Need a pinned thread: Foreigners found dead today.

Or several really.

Today's road accidents.

Today's ex pat jumpers.

Today's gun murders and slayings.

It's a sad reflection of the way the place is going.

Rather an alarming sign that Farangs have become easy targets for criminals.

They know they will get away with it!

Comments concerning this issue by all the involved investigating parties have not as yet ruled out that the deceased may have had a violent attack of ,''St Vitus Dance''' whilst attempting a ''Harry Houdini escapologist feat from a secured escape proof bag whilst holding either a knife, meat cleaver, sword or a similar sharp object etc as an escape aid.

Thus the injuries were in fact self inflicted' the verdict being un- premeditated suicide, or ''Accidental Death.''whistling.gif

Police reported 'no signs of a struggle'

He was packaging himself to mail himself back to India as he was too tight to pay the airfare.

He was struggling to zip up the last bit of the bag and he fell into the klong bruising himself all over on the way down.

Death by misadventure.

Perhaps he hadn't thought through how he was going to get to the post office once he was zipped into the bag!

Canals are getting popular in BK, sadly the everyday murders are becoming the norm here, I wonder if the enlightened one wants to take a selfie at the scene.

Since Shane Looker dissapeared and is wanted by interpol nothing has been reported of the gruesome body in the suit case murder.

LOS is becoming a very dangerous place to be.

Be carefull out there.
