When going there with our pickup, downhill on position " L " I must use the brakes . You will have not all of them On road 22, going to Udon Thani Udon Thani, 11 am , I have already left Samsung office; I'm in front of a thai " buffet" restaurant where I like to eat ; 90 baht, it's a buffet, you take what you want and take again if not full Udon Thani, just a the railway crossing on road going to Sakon nakhon A few kilometers outside Udon Ten kilometers outside Udon, nearly every vehicles use the horn when passing there I had a beautiful sky Thai people like very much english language ( you must read Ban Chiang and not Ban Chaing ) A nice Michelin truck in Ban Han Noi Après la sécheresse, c'est l'inondation ; and in english ; after the drought, the flood so we have a fisherwoman Electricity in Thailand; we all know why we have often power cut Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

We are in the center of downtown, maybe 300 m from Central Plaza ( Robinson ) ;as I have some parts to buy for our two MTBike I walk a little bit; in a big town there are always so many things or people to photography, such as this old Isuzu Coming back home, another stupid accident; the driver of the pickup forced the passage and " boom " ; stupid drivers who don't want to loose the face ; he has lost his pickup Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Escargot to you a scrooge to rice farmers.... Great shoots by the way! Right Aussie69, but in the ditches there are more rubbish than roses ; Yesterday , thursday 16 of june 2016, I cycled a lot ; had a good idea because rain began in the evening and is still falling; the rice fields will be full of water in a short time . So yesterday, taking road 2021 going to Ban Kham Bit which is also on road 227 ( Kalasin -- Phangkhon ) ; So, in the middle of nowhere, road 2021 ; after that who can say that thai people aren't " frappadingue " , sorry bababobo, tingtong .. Road 227 , going to Wang Sammo, Kalasin ; Isan flat country as they write in some ting tong french travel books Not always easy to shoot Etan, isn't it ? Leaving road 227 at the top of a beautiful hill; going on my right side, road 2040 Arghh ! The sky isn't blue today; maybe a good shower in a few time? Since the beginning of this month I did 808 kilometers ; and since the 1st of january , 8310 kilometers; I must change my brake pads ( 5400 km );it's better than the last time I had to change them ; they did 3.300 km but more mountain . A few kilometers after Nong Han on the way to Udon Thani ; it's a coffee and an hotel Yes, I'm going to Udon Thani for buying new brake pads ; A few kilometers before Udon downtown; I'm lucky, I will see that beautiful truck later on a huge parking lot In the soi where there is a bike shop, a little bit after Makro Udon, just before a Susco benzine station ( left side ) Another bike shop , it's about 400 m after Central Plaza ; open when I arrived at 9 am ; 10 minutes to have new brakes and 480 baht less in my purse Not far from that shop, in the same road where there is Pannarai Hotel, this is a good and cheap restaurant Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Assurancetourix Posted June 18, 2016 Author Share Posted June 18, 2016 Right Aussie69; it was also my first thought; a thai traveller all around the world ?; So after food for the dogs and Football between Red devils and Eire ( 3 - 0 ), a good night to recover ; 151 kilometers yesterday at average 25 ; I think it's still good for an old man In Udon Thani On the other side of the railway tracks there is a chinese temple ; I passed there so many times and never went to have a look ; so About 15 kilometers after Udon, left side of the road going to Sakon Nakhon , there is a huge mill , they transform rubber sap in caoutchouc; a huge mill and a huge parking lot for trucks; There was the beautiful red truck I saw a few hours earlier ; always I ask the driver who is often the owner if I can shoot some photos. When I'm in front of my laptop, two of my dogs are playing on the floor The youngest, Soey , 7 months and 1 ( one ) kilo likes to eat the chair Edit , forgot , 71 kilometers today ; 1246 km since the beginning of this month .
