A loop to Song Dao, Waritchaphum, Phangkhon, Sawang Daen Din, Ban Tay ; always turning left so I came back home without problem but with much " kaya " ; today 49 krapong ! and I did'nt count the plastic bottles; my bags were full ..Have a look ! Beginning of the day, a man working alone in his rice field A little stop at Kubota service on rd 22 outside Sawang going to Udon Thani, left side This one is a big one, double wheels behind and a big price also : 500,000 baht ! 99 kilometers today , eh! eh! Assurancetourix Posted July 2, 2016 Author Share Posted July 2, 2016 Today is saturday 2 of july 2016 ; No sun this morning but no rain , so I decided to cycle ; going to Nong Han , rd 22 direction Udon Thani and coming back : 75 kilometers Ban Kud Chik, about 12 kilometers after my village, I see a truck I know already; The driver, khun Deng has a good english ; I asked him why he can speak english and his answer is : I was working during nine years in Libya ; now he works for a truck company from Udon Thani; and today was going to Nakhon Phanom ; still 200 km and he said 5 hours .. Yesterday friday 8th of july 2016 I have lost one of my six dogs; it was in the back of our pickup, coming back from " beauty salon " ; maybe the floor of the back was too hot so he jumped outside but I didn't saw him doing that in my mirrors.. Arriving at home no " Pickeur " in the back; we came back slowly on the road; no dog run over and no dog in the ditches.. I did again the rd with my bicycle , calling every 20 or thirty meters.. but no dog.. I think he jumped when we are still inside Sawang, driving slowly and as it is (very ) beautiful somebody caught him... Hope he is in a good family . This morning , the same road, maybe I can find it; but no Pickeur..; I went inside a Wat I passed near it many times but the door is nearly always closed; there are many beautiful squirrels inside it; with my so little camera, zoom maximum 105 mm I did what I could do.. I find Thailand is an odd mix of very basic, simple, third world; but then you come across very modern dropped into that world. It is amost like Thailand (and many similiar neighboring countries) skipped over a few decades of technological progression we all experienced in the West and went from basic straight to modern world.
