Angry Beaver
Man I would love to go on these daily adventures with you and take some photos but I don't think I can keep up with you. Riding 50km-100km a day is nuts, especially in the heat. I've never ridden that far on my scooter, let alone my MTB. Those dirt roads look really fun to ride on though. Keep up the great work! Assurancetourix
Thank u for ur answer; I like to cycle; other people like to do other things ..ride a big moto like my friend Jon ..or going to soi 6 in Pattaya ...Why not ? Doing 100 km a day isn't a challenge for me ; beginning at 6 am coming back home at 3 or 4 pm.. I often stop in my friend's houses; some are farang as me , others are thai people. Today no bicycle , I have a bike race in Mukdahan next sunday ; I go there first to see my first daughter who is married with a man from Dontan .. and second for the race but I don't like to race in Thailand, many thai men cheat ; doing half the race in a pickup or eating drugs .. I know what about I speak; I cycle since more than 50 years ..
Angry Beaver
Beginning at 6 a.m. and coming back at 4 p.m. that's a pretty long ride! That's like driving from Bangkok all the way up to Chiang Mai. I guess I just need to ride more haha. Best of luck on your race next Sunday. Assurancetourix
@Angry Beaver , I don't race when cycling every two days, I stop often for photographiing or discussions with some friends I have along or on the roads.. Many truckers know about me and often stop their big trucks for a little discussion ; I know how to drive their trucks, it was my job before in Europe; not sure if they can cycle as fast as I do if I want to cycle fast I can do it; for example going to Udon Thani and coming back : 150 km and only 5 hours on the MTBike .. On a road bike I can cycle faster.. but I prefer my MTBike because I love to cycle on red roads or in the hills all around in my province ..
