A original earphone for Samsung Galaxy S5 would be enough. But i use it only for the notebook to listen music.

Please, not Tukcom. Just got ripped off there again. But it's my fault. I'm the idiot who decided to buy at that place.

Not sure what you consider "decent," but as you say the ones that came with your phone would suffice (which are $10-15 earphones at best) than any electronics retailer in town would suffice...any Banana IT or Power Buy would have plenty. These stores all sell original branded products and not some cheap knock-offs you'd find at a stall at a place like Tuk Com (though there is a branch of BIT at Tuk. There is also a head/earphone only store at the new Harbor Mall, where you can audition many of their offerings.

I would recommend the bluetooth Plantronics BackBeat Fit if you plan on using them for exercise. Even if you don't exercise the waterproof qualities would be beneficial in Thailand where people are likely to sweat profusely. They don't totally block out outside noise like some do, so they're a bit safer if walking around. They were about 5700 baht at the Apple Store, but you can get them for about 2000 less online.

I bought a Hi-Res Sony Walkman and the earbuds that it came with are pretty great. I use them on my old I River mp3 as well. They can be bought seperate for around 3k. The Sony Store sells them......

I've been through a lot of ear buds. Want to know my favorites? The ones that have lasted the longest? 200 baht from 7/11. Buy the best ones they have. They're guaranteed for a year but for 200 baht...

I went to Harbor mall last night. Could only find one stores close to what you described. They didn't have any recognizable brands like Sony, Bose...etc. They just had cheap Chinese brands and some portable speakers. Is this the store you are referring to?

Im a convert to spending on head phones Have 6000£ of house hi fi in the UK, but i aint there but still like a.good sound so at first went a bit like a on here limited expense.. But i use them a lot so to me going up market. Has been worth it have used sennheisser since the.late 70's they give a 2 year. Warranty and stock parts for decades. It Stopped using in ear.undoubtably if you are of an age at a decent volume for any length of time they effect oyour hearing. Now have over ear momentums mk 2 they fold have detectable leads and are all around excellent. As for the original question buy from a.reputable dealer loads of copies around.

Tukcom on South Pattaya Rd. They have the selection. Bought a pair for myself 700 Baht -yesterday

TF mini 503 works with Blue Tooth on your pc and Cell. Not bad sound for the price.

Countless others there to choose from.

I bought some for 120 baht in samui....did the job.

For critical listening get a pair of grado cans.

Yeah listened to some and they were good. What's the warranty like? one of the reasons i like senheisser is the 2 year warranty and that they were totally apologetic that they didn't have the drivers for a pair of 430's i bought in 82... Vv Good on spares and excellent customer service.
