Nice shot BTW Thanks. I did it in Lightroom but the process should generally be the same for other photo editing programs. The photo was actually taken around mid day so I had to reduce the contrast and highlights by quite a lot. Then I "warmed" up the photo using white balance settings, reduced saturation a little and then brought up "black" which gives it kind of a "matte" look. Note that "black" in Lightroom is not the same as "shadow". I would post the original, but that photo was taken years ago and I seem to have deleted the RAW file. Sorry!
