thai3
Ya dong is also good from those wooden shacks along the road, 50 baht a bottle, god knows what they put in it though. Tesco have a great CS red for 285 baht, beats anything up to a thousand, Ronnin, ozzie wine and 14%, that's the best thing about it!

wolfmanjack
well that's what it says on the can, who drinks beer for the taste? Thai Asia Pacific Brewery makes Cheers, Tiger, Heineken, Guinness, and Kilkenny. Red Horse is the high alcohol beer brand of San Miguel Brewery, it is a deeply hued lager with distinctive sweetish taste balanced by a smooth bitterness that leads in a strong alcohol kick.[2]It was once introduced in response to Asia Brewery. It was the first extra-strong beer in the Philippines. It has size variations include 500 (regular), Colt (250ml, discontinued), Stallion (330ml), Litro (1000ml), and in cans. Cheers Riceberry and Red Horse are both better than chang or Leo in my opinion. Of course those of you that can afford the German Imports need not bother with any of the thai beers.
