They are looking for somewhere quiet on the beach with air and hot water. Not top end but somewhere decent. Any suggestions anyone? Never been there myself so don't have a clue! Hi, Having lived there on off for four years I would suggest Longbeach for a great place to stay. It's only a short long tail boat ride out of the main village, many resorts along there to choose from with low prices and great views. No hustle and bustle of the village life, a fantastic reef (Hin Pae) right off the beach for diving and snorkelling, a fantastic stretch of beach to relax on, Longbeach Dive Centre for diving and great places to eat.
