Male suicide is an interesting topic and all too common here. Many factors at play, the first being nature, in almost all species males are expendable and short lived. In this age of family breakdown and the disposable male many are left alone and emotionally gutted. The tradiditional role of the old guy is as a respected storehouse of wisdom, the computer made that role obsolete.

Thailand is often seen as a refuge of last resort but the harsh reality of the shattered fantasy can be overwhelming. Added to that the absence of men's true last resort, work.

For every female suicide there are 9 males doing it.

I don't see the trend reversing.

Since a narrative verdict was recorded, the coroner did not find it to be a suicide.

I can't recall murder by bag on the head being common in Thailand?
