Hal65
I only found out about this after moving here: Brands such as PB2 make their powdered peanut butter by taking peanuts and pressing them to remove much of the fat. When mixed with water, the end result is a creamy spread with about half the calories of regular peanut butter. But similar to the regular spread, you still get the nutritional bonuses of protein and dietary fiber. I'm guessing this will be hard to find but has anyone spotted a place with it? I'm in Pattaya myself.
Hal65
Still searching 1.5 years later. I take it we just don't have access to stuff like this yet.
Ulysses G.
Tastes lousy and gets rid of very healthy fat. I tried it once and never again. A waste of money IMHO.
RuamRudy
I picked up a tub of PB2 in Manila (no use if you live in Thailand, of course) but I was reasonably impressed with it. I made some as regular peanut butter and it was nice without being overly sweet or oily, but I usually put Jif creamy in my morning coffee with coconut oil - the result with the PB2 was much less sweet but still quite pleasant.
