ChidlomDweller
Maybe not applicable to you, but for better-quality headphones you may be able to order the parts yourself from Ebay sellers located in HK or China. I've bought replacement parts myself for Bose NC-25 and Sennheiser HD-280 for a fraction of the price as the original parts from the manufacturer. You need to have some basic equipment like a multimeter and a soldering iron though, or have a friend who does. Otherwise, I'd probably look for a cellphone/computer repair shop in Fortune Mall or MBK.
wooloomooloo
Get a good pair of B&W. Top ticket price but you won't regret it. I puke on Beats.
