TAT leads entrepreneurs to participate in Connections Luxury 2016 in Phuket

PHUKET, 21 June 2016 (NNT) – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has led tourism entrepreneurs to participate in Connections Luxury 2016 in Phuket province to promote tourism and Thai culture.

TAT Deputy Governor for the Asian and South Pacific market Srisuda Wanaphinyosak has led 30 entrepreneurs from around the world to attend Connections Luxury 2016. The fair is being held at Dream Hotel and Resort in Thalang district from June 20 - 21.

Ms. Srisuda revealed that the Travel Weekly Group organized the event, which is sponsored by the TAT as a 'Country Partner'. Connections Luxury 2016 offers tourism promotions for luxury markets. The fair also gives participating companies the opportunity to negotiate business-to-business (B2B) transactions and partnerships.

Participating buyers are selected through extensive research and word-of-mouth recommendations from existing partners and suppliers. Ms. Srisuda said they represent key and emerging players in the luxury travel market and reflect what the region has to offer.

The TAT official went on to say that the fair's suppliers represent the best companies in luxury travel from around the globe. These include airlines, hoteliers, private jet and yacht charters, and cruise lines.
