Image: Thairath BANGKOK: -- Mystery surrounds the tragic death of a five year old girl who was found dead on the flat roof of a nine story condo in Charoen Krung Soi 107 on Sunday night. Parents frantically looking for their daughter called in Wat Prayakrai police after finding her dead on the roof, reported Thairath. The girl was wearing a red dress and her pink pants were showing with parents believing she had been molested. A man who works in the condo building is helping police with their inquiries. Police, medics and forensics who rushed to the condo found the girl face up just eight metres from a disused swimming pool that had a foot of water in it. There were some footprints that were photographed. The father, who lives elsewhere, said that his wife had phoned him about 6 pm when she could not find their five year old. They conducted a search and got the condo management to open a door onto the roof where they found the little girl. Police said that there was no sign of a struggle but that heavy rain had made it difficult to gather evidence. A preliminary forensics examination of the body revealed no injuries but she was taken to Chulalonkorn Hospital for a detailed autopsy. The father said that he had been worried about a man called Bumbim, 33, who was "not all there" who liked to play with children in the condo area. He had warned his wife several times about the man, he told police. Police studied CCTV footage and discovered that Bumbim had been with the little girl before she died and he was taken in for questioning. Police are not yet sure whether he was responsible for her death or had in fact tried to save her from drowning. The case continues. cardinalblue Posted June 27, 2016 Share Posted June 27, 2016 So the litte girl is found on the other side of a locked door...the man was seen with herbefore her disappearance...does he have the key to the roof top...he had brought suspicion to himself previously? The police are less then useless, couldn`t investigate the theft of a rice pudding let alone conduct a full scale murder investigation. If there is no obvious indications that the child was murdered and no evidence or clues that lead the police to the murderer or the murderer does not confess to the crime, then there will no no justice served for this child. They will take the easiest route and say the child died from misadventure, filed away, case closed.
