JOHN CHAN
I am British holding a Thai driving licence. Besides my driving licence, my ID No. on it is in the form of 09-(followed by my UK Passport No.) Does anyone know what the number 09- mean? Thanks

Kwasaki
Dunno best to ask your DLT that issued your licence, maybe it's their way of office coding the ID No. using a passport No. Thai ID numbers are 13 digits, UK passport No's. are only 9 well my is. My 5 year Thai DL always has a Thai ID No. now not passport No. because our local DLT use the ID No. from the yellow house when that is used in renewal. topt
OP several people mentioned this in a previous thread (but cannot remember which one). Are you on a 2 year temporary licence?
