Bob12345
“Around 9pm on Saturday, he asked his friends and family to join him and his son for a swim at the pool,” Col Somnuek explained. Most swimming pools at resorts close at 7PM, so why was he inviting others for a swim 2 hours after closing time? The reason they close the pools at night is to avoid (drunken) people to drown in the dark without anybody noticing it.

stevenl
Condo and hotel pools rarely are deeper than 1.5m hard to drown Quite often there are parts of the pool that are up to 1.5 meters, with other parts deeper, 2 to 2,5 meters would be very normal for a hotel pool. copa8
Surprised none of the TVF detectives are questioning this incident. I guess maybe it's because victim is Asian.

Old Croc
I sometimes wonder if there are no pools or deep bodies of water in the parts of China where these lemmings come from. All too many of these non-swimmers seem to gleefully leap into water wherever they find it, with tragic results. You can't legislate, nor provide 24 hour nanny services, for adults with little commonsense or self preservation instincts.
NamKangMan
@ stevenl Where have I "Thai bashed?" What's wrong with some physical and / or electronic surveillance on a hotel / resort pool, or a fence?
