The Swede was unhealthy and drunk , maybe he just died for that reason alone. The wife would not kill her husband , then she would say good bye to all his money and a life in Sweden . So if he was killed , well maybe the driver from the accident did it.

But we will never find out here on Thaivisa.

One poster says he may be unhealthy due to size of bodybag and then you repeat it as if it was fact.Do you know any Swedes, some "big" healthy lads amongst them.Body also bloats after death. Can't a farang die of an accident in this country?Plenty of them are an accident waiting to happen.

Wondering if the Buriram lady had already found another wealthier Swede or two and this alcoholic was being a thorn?

Bugger me.The man is dead and can't defend himself and your calling him an alcho because he was drunk once that we know of.One poster said Bib had xray vision.Seems half the members on this forum have this power.

Good point about the bloating. Admit I failed to take that into consideration.

that is one of my main concerns in the land

of smiles - rubbing the locals on the wrong side.

did he not have insurance for his vehicle to have the accident

settled by his insurance company.

you may notice that the wife is generally away ate time of

such incidences.

Be polite to everyone and show respect for the country, culture and people. You should have no problems.

I think most of the time that is true...I often worry about the spontaneous attack from the Thai men who simply want to vent anger

Police surmised that he may have died from internal injuries sustained in the accident or complications as a result of being drunk.

Yes, the rocket scientists, who were trained in Scotland Yard, again come up with a scientific conclusion, based on much evidence, combined with state of the art forensics, provided by a very generous national government determined to create one of the most effective police forces in the world. One the entire planet can look upon with great admiration and respect.

Of course, there is a zero percent possibility that the vengeful driver could have been the cause. Why would anyone come to that conclusion? Why should it even be examined, or considered?

The problem is I am a man. If it happens that I'm involved in some type of disagreement I refuse to be subservient and cower to men half my weight simply becaus my skin colour makes me a target.

One of the many reasons I won't live in Thailand.

That's pretty black and white then.

BIB now has xray vision? Dose BIB have a bet pool on who can guess cause of death best? I wish they would stop this stupid guessing and let professionals give cause of death Cause having a badge and gun don't give you super powers or brains.

Several years ago the bib had a creditable and honest forensic doctor (Dr.Porntip) that they got rid of because she would not go along with their ideas as to their own causes of death in many cases. They could abide by honesty..

Seems strange no calls were placed asking for assistance ?

That's often a bad sign in sudden death cases there.

Thailand deserves some critical thinking .

Too many die there.( Westerners)

They like to cover some up.

How heated was the argument?

Who was the person ?

What was the mans medical status ?

Did his wife wish to divorce?

Did he have assets that were to be sold ?

Did he have significant life insurance?

How often did his wife leave him alone?

Did he have people that disliked him.

Does his wife have police connections ?

The speculation can only go on.

It's possible the man was a heavy drinker .

He seemed to claim responsibility for the crash.

The other theory is the man involved decided to follow.

We will never know.

Like so many others .

Could be dark....

Could be exactly as police say.

However , without examination one should suspect their claims.

"used by him and his wife from Buriram to sell Isaan food"

Some guys are doing it tough in Thailand sad.png

I don't consider Buriirum "Isaan" at all, it is more Khmer than anything else.

You do not have to be from Sakon Nakhon to sell Isaan food. As to the people from Buri Ram ... I can say with confidence not a single one gives a rat's arse what you think.

Why don't you go there and tell them they are not Thai? (Up to you hansum man!)

Following your logic, no one in Stuttgart should sell French Crepes.

It's funny to see a guy who can't even write the name of the province properly and obviously hasn't got an idea about the size of the northeast.

Isaan's area is about 33 % of this country and Buri Ram is between Surin and Korat. BTW, who cares what you consider?

Every time I read one of these articles I smile.

Then I read the comments and smile.

This is the land of smiles after all.

I think most of the long timers here would agree when I say..................Speak softly and carry a big stick.

The problem is I am a man. If it happens that I'm involved in some type of disagreement I refuse to be subservient and cower to men half my weight simply becaus my skin colour makes me a target.

One of the many reasons I won't live in Thailand.

Nothing to do with size, better to walk away from someone that clearly cannot debate without resorting to violence. The fact that he is smaller has nothing to do with it. If he does look like he is resorting to violence you have already won the argument in my view.

What if he was much bigger then you, still refuse to be subservient?

If he was much bigger than me then i may well have to back down or if he was armed then sure i almost certainly would have to back down.

That would be the case anywhere in the world ...

Who lets themselves be bullied by someone that they could pick up and fold in half?

Forget winning the argument ...i have pride as a man. Yeah you can say its our undoing and a weakness and i understand that but its the same pride that has allowed men to achieve great things throughout the ages and often what makes us men.

The idea of kowtowing makes me feel sick so i won't put my self in a position where i may need to do it..much better than walking away.
