futsukayoi Posted August 3, 2016 Share Posted August 3, 2016 Mind Your Language have a branch in the northern part of Lamai. Their teachers are very well trained and enthusiastic. They can teach reading and writing but they are especially good at teaching spoken Thai (with a focus on everyday speech rather than formal language). Check out their webpage. They will probably give you a trial class for free and explain their approach. There is another school in Lamai but I don't have any experience with them.
