rooster59 Posted July 30, 2016 Share Posted July 30, 2016 Missing Thai/French girl safely home - Trang boxer in custody Image: Thairath TRANG: The parents of a Thai/French girl missing since last weekend have been happily reunited with their daughter at their home in Trang.Kanokwan Benlounas told her mum that she was going to the market but ended up at the family home of her Thai boyfriend in Satun.The 19 year old man named only as "A" was arrested and charged with abducting a minor aged between 15 and 18 and taking that person from the care of parents."A" is a well known former boxer in the Trang area and in previous reports it was stated that he had known Kanokwan - or Nong Yim - for a year.Acting on information from the public Trang police followed the trail of the pair to Satun where after talking with A's parents they managed to find him and bring him back to Trang.Nong Yim's relieved parents thanked police and members of the public who helped to ensure that their daughter got home safely.Their daughter is a Year 11 (M4) student at a school in Trang. She had disappeared Sunday after being allowed by her mum Loma, who is French, to go to the local market with two girlfriends.
