She's petite and light hearted but hopeless.

10 years with the same woman in bangkok. Absolutely perfect English spoken and written as is required for her upper management position in an international firm but she is brain dead as they all are when it comes to intellectual meaningful conversation, if you don't know what that means then it's no wonder your comfortable with a thai.

I'm no longer with her. Just rent by the hour now and I can put up with brain dead when it's a firm 20 year old emoji1.png

Still you can always get your fix of your intellectual meaningful conversation in your local bar.

Errm some of the world's greatest philosophers, scholars, artists and poets sociallized in... Surprise, guess where? A bar!

There are many many intelligent men here that socialise in bars. The fact you don't know that says a lot about you. Unless your stuck up in the sticks with a buffalo wife and have no choice , which I strongly suspect

I wonder sometimes what guys seen in their TG/TW. I didn't settle and hit the ball out of the park first swing but no one is perfect so I'll lay out some faults to be honest:

She will clean but not to my level

She lives to shop (with her own money) but it's all second hand and she often resells it after a few wears for more than she paid.

She either leaves leftovers out for days or puts them in the fridge and never touches them.

There are times I must repeat myself which I do hate.

Thats it.

Some pro's:

She's gorgeous, sexy as hell, just the right age at 32 and a tiger in the sack. She cooks like a chef anything I want any time I want. She give the best massage I have found. She works hard and long making (almost all her own money) and rarely asks for anything but my time and affection. And she makes me laugh to tears almost every day which is not easy to do. She doesn't care about any of my faults of which there are many. She is smart as a whip and loves to learn also.  Oh and her mom died when she was an infant and her dad is out of the picture, so no overwhelming family crap.

Shall we start the bidding at say 1 million baht?? Just kidding I love her to death and know she is irreplaceable.

Dude if brains beauty and Breasts  mean nothing to you then why not Just buy a Hamster

Don't worry,you won't miss what you've never had!

Quote end

I'm guessing because your using question marks instead of exclamations in all your posts and your odd attempt at either humor or sarcasm above regarding buying a hamster that English is not your first language?.. Or are you saying you've been with a hamster?

Really? I strongly suspect that you are not one of them.

Why don't you give us all an example of your last  intellectual meaningful discussion?

Quite happy to be at home with the wife engaging in meaningful discussion in London.

Beauty and brains are definitely an asset, but personality and character will determine the length of the relationship. You can get that here, but not where most guys are looking.

Seriously...most guys here are lucky to get anything two legged in their home country.
How many of those are looking for intellectual conversation

Nothing much going on between the ears.

I've yet to meet any budding Ernest Hemingways in the Sukhumvit bars so far!

One dreams of Utopia...

...a little something floating around on facebook recently (I don't know the author):

My Mum always cooked tasty food.

But, one day she put a burnt pie in front of Dad.

Not just a little burnt but, black as coal.

I waited to see what dad would say.

But, he just ate the pie and asked how my day was.

Then I heard Mum apologise to him for his supper.

I'll never forget his response.

Darling, I liked your pie.”

Later, l asked him lf he had told the truth.

He put his arm on my shoulder and said,

Your Mum had a rough day at work.  She was tired.

The burnt pie didn't harm me but, a sharp word could have hurt her.”

We all make mistakes.

We shouldn't focus on mistakes but, support those we love.

That's the secret of long and happy relationships.

Having a good laugh together about the burnt pie would have been more truthful and healthier in the end.

Perhaps in your family. Therein lies the dilemma NOT all people react the same to criticism. The better you understand the person, the better chance you have of a positive outcome.

Travel a bit. Even if it's just to a neighboring country. Also, your lucky she doesn't gamble and Rob you blind while smiling and lying. I had one like that for a long long time.

Cleaning....show her how.

Cooking.....my gf I have now burned water when I met her. I did all the cooking. I got her interested in it. Some western cook books in the Thai language helped tremendously. Now she cooks like a pro.....The Buddhism thing, had my fill of that Kool aid. My gf became a Christian and then did what most Christians do. Stopped going to church years ago.

Farangs don't marry girls 20 or 30 years younger for what's going on between their ears!  (a bit further down)

Something they could never do in their home country.

All a bit of a farce really.

that's right 99% of farang I see with lovely girls could never, ever in their wildest dreams do the same in their own country... must be love right?  nothing about money + security?   lol

for me I stay single and enjoy the playground regularly sleeping with 30 years younger - why not?  it's ALL an exchange but maybe YOU are the 'exception'?  found 'love' with a girl much younger who is only interested in your heart?

The gras is always greener on the other side.

I married a similar girl, left her for something - which I thought was better - and it was a huge mistake.

Other women might be more pretty, educated and what not but do they genuinely care for you?

I know the one I married did and still does, regardless if my bank account looks like her phone number or has 20 baht in it.

I can't understand someone coming here then repeating  'Groundhog Day like'  what they failed at in farangland with a girl 20 or 30 years younger for 'love'. As a Thai friend told me "I don't want to eat chicken everyday".

Anyway everyone should do what makes them happy and hurts none.
