Isuzu D-Max clutch repair

Hi,

I have a Isuzu D-Max 4-door which is nearly 10 years old. I bought the car second-hand 4 years ago. The car is basically in pretty good shape, body-wise and mechanically. It's been maintained at a local Isuzu dealer since I've had it. The problem at the moment is clutch slip. This is apparent when accelerating fairly hard and changing from 3>4 gear. The car is driveable but obviously needs to be repaired.

I'm anticipating a full clutch plate/friction disk replacement. Would this be necessary? Or just the friction disk?

Could anyone give me some idea of what  the cost of repairs is likely to be. And, is it best to take the car to the dealer for repair or to a specialist clutch/gearbox shop (if I can find one).

Any advice would be much appreciated.
