webfact Posted September 4, 2016 Share Posted September 4, 2016 Manhunt over as police trap rape suspect PATTAYA: -- On August 29 Pattaya One reported that a man, claiming to be a policeman, was on the run after being charged with the rape of a seventeen-year-old maid. Yesterday evening it was reported that officers had now traced forty-nine-year old Mr. Supan (aka Jo) Phanburi to a resort in Klaeng, Rayong and he has been arrested. The police had been tracking him as he was moving from hotel to hotel and eventually he was trapped. Thanks BBG but I hope to dear god they don't actually follow through on this idea. So the pervert could quietly walk away ,nursing his slapped wrist and feeling hard done by having to pay 500 baht,and continue on his merry life of sexual abuse of women. So impersonating a policeman isn't a crime? He might be wrong on that, but then so many people wear t-shirts or caps with police on it, or put on police stickers on their vehicles. so who knows.
