Did Phuket not get the memo about parading arrestees in front of the media?

Am intrigued:

We often see these guys- especially Eastern Europeans ( sorry guys) being caught skimming.

There is never a follow-up. What happens to them? Do they go to jail? Deported?

Pay their way out- which seems unlikely as the money always seems to transferred abroad very quickly .

But there is never any follow up about the banks involved where the stolen money was sent or transferred to, the ring leader in Russia, Ukraine or wherever.  Post some information and get that information out there.  In this day and age, it would a lot of good Samaritans sort things out and warn other people or government officials
