Cockfighting is legal at registered stadiums and I think the birds need to be registered.  Cockfighting is even excluded from the Animal Welfare Bill here!

No different from Spanish bullfighting re the combatants - both primitive 'entertainment'. But it should have been clear that a two-year old cock who had survived previous battles would defeat an eight-month old owing to greater experience.

 

What the hell am I dribbling on about - obviously need to get out more.

I could be wrong but I don't think they attach spurs to the birds here as they do in the Philippines, but not 100% on that.
