PATTAYA: -- A phone repair shop in Pattaya is offering free phone repairs to boat and jetski operators to pay homage to His Majesty the late King.

Sarayuth Khongphet,38, said the service is in honour of the king. The Pattaya native runs the SP Mobile shop in Pattaya 3 near the Mum Aroi intersection, reports Manager Online.

He said that boat and jetski operators often needed repairs as their mobiles and smart phones frequently suffered water or impact damage.

In addition he has hired a vehicle to distribute "luuk chin" or pork balls on a stick in the area around his shop.

Free only to "la creme de la mer".....i wouldn't be surprised if all of a sudden all the jetsky's operators would turn up with a Vertu, then claim the repairer's shop  damaged even more their handset and ask for a couple hundreds thousand Bahts in compensation......
