rooster59 Posted October 30, 2016 Share Posted October 30, 2016 Thai man "obsessed with the occult" jumps to his death in Thonburi Image: Daily News BANGKOK:-- A Thai man who police said was "obsessed with the occult" has jumped to his death from his 9th floor balcony in the Janit Sanitwong area of Bangkok Noi. Police and medics found the body of Pornlert Sakhanawin, 52, on a second floor area. In his room on the ninth floor there was no sign of a struggle. They found watch repair equipment, beer, thinner and a load of anti-depressants from two Bangkok hospitals in the dead man's name. They also found a human skull covered in resin, books on the occult, magazines about fortune telling and horoscope charts. A maid at the flats said he lived alone and was a watch repairman who sometimes worked at home. He had no wife but a daughter who lived elsewhere. He like to keep himself to himself. Police accept he was suffering from a mental illness and most likely took his own life adding that he was clearly obsessed with matters of the occult.
