rooster59 Posted November 6, 2016 Share Posted November 6, 2016 Rifles stolen from defence volunteers used to shoot at cop By Narong Nuansakul The Sunday Nation THE three rifles used by insurgents to shoot at a policeman in Narathiwat’s Sungai Kolok district on Friday night were stolen from defence volunteers during a fatal attack in late September, police said yesterday. The suspected insurgents also detonated a bomb at the scene of the shooting in an attempt to harm officers responding to report of the shooting. Pol Sergeant Anusorn Songsuwan, 32, of Munoh Police Station, was shot while riding a motorcycle on the Tak Bai-Sungai Kolok Road in Tambon Pasemas at around 10.30pm on Friday.
