Traffic tailbacks of a kilometer were experienced in Hat Yai as run off from forests entered the housing estates of Khuan Khee Raet and Pak Dae. Water of 30cm, and damaged road surfaces and bridges caused the closure of one outbound lane of the Kanchanawanich highway.
