Brer Fox
With a number gun killings so far in the New Year plus carnage on the roads and yet another delay with the election date the scenario has been set for 2017 to be annus horribilis for Thailand. Is there any good news apart from tourist numbers increasing?

whatawonderfulday
Why be surprised ? Buddhism is as corrupt in Thailand as anything thing else. Gun law rules and is promoted not just by military coups but just about with anything else. Lets face it, you can kill anyone in that country and get away with it depending upon personnel status and money in the bank. Nothing and nobody are excluded. Kill a few people in a mini van and no problem. Kill a high ranking official, no problem. Corrupt to the core. But that is what Thais want so no problem. Mai pen Rai It has been a failed state for many decades only propped up by certain countries for their own gains.
