snoop1130 Posted January 11, 2017 Share Posted January 11, 2017 One million rai of rubber plantations damaged in southern flooding The current flooding in the southern provinces has damaged about one million rai of rubber plantations estimated at a cost of about 40 billion baht with Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat and Phatthalung being the worst hit. An informed source at the Ministry of Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives said 11.3 million rai of rubber plantations were flooded but about one million rai were damaged with rubber trees dying or already dead.
