F4UCorsair
May be entitled to claim salvage costs, probably limited to fuell and his time. Hopefully he won't have to, and the resort will kick the can for his costs? Or perhaps the resort wanted it to go missing?

I liked "finders keepers". I hope they do better, if only to compensate for his time, his fuel, a little extra for karma and so the next guy that finds one of their boats adrift does the right thing.
