Just another person that think it´s a crime free city and never bother to read the news.

If you want to wear litterally thousands of dollars of gold around your neck openly then you better be bad ass enough to protect it ------or don't wear it.

It will be so  easy to eradicate those acts or aggressive robberies if only the

power that be would want to do so, by rounding all the LB in Pattaya and

telling them that the next time they will be blacklisted from the city and

and lengthy jail terms instead of the slap on the wrist and a 1,000 baht fine....

Maybe errect a sign at immigration or hand out pamphlets saying dont walk around with gold or jewelry  as we have violent thieves who will take it.  Umm that might have an impact on tourism.

i dont understand why peaple keep referring to these creatures as LADYboys they are men dressed up as women and should be called katoys.

...or maybe just better referred to as 'men dressed up as women'?  Should save any confusion, and would make a more entertaining read!

Seriously when is Pattaya ever going to eradicate these ladyboys????? Use section 444 and round up all these things and arrest them , fingerprint them, photographed them and then bar them from Pattaya and if they return, lock them up for 25 years in an isolated cell.Or else , use section 44 to  round them up and send them to all those human rights or activitists demanding rights for these up to  no good things and let these activistists take care of them in isolated areas.Foreigners such as farangs, middle-easterns and muslims using the services of these things need to be also arrested for encouraging these things to proliferate. Also close down ladyboy shows and  clubs like Tiffany;s etc.

Don't beat about the bush.

Why don't you say exactly what you think. You need to be much clearer in your posts.

You not been around the world a lot? Haven't you?  Pattaya is not that unsafe. But please stay home :P

Just a quick tot up, I've been to at least 31 countries around the world, including Pattaya 3 times, 1966, 1988 & 2008 (for the very last time) and if you think Pattaya is "not that unsafe" you don't read the news much obviously.

We could turn Tiffany into a Gospel Hall. Close all go-go bars. Ban alcohol and tobacco.

Then to enjoy life we could eh, thinking, still thinking,

I'll get back to you.

Oh, nearly forgot, cars, ban them as well and go back to horseback.

Ah, just too add, only side saddle allowed but not on Sundays.

Here's a suggestion.

You live your life and let others live theirs..

We need some more entertainment.    What are your views on drug pushers, boiler room operators, jet ski renters,  Thai drivers?

Spaniel,

Some people have no tolerance.

Last Saturday I was in a restaurant with my wife and some people keep looking at us and saying peedo, peedo ( they couldn't spell ) any I'm 40 and my wife is 22.

It ruined our night and what should have been a happy 10th wedding anniversary for us.

Ok, lousy joke. I'll get my coat.

Maybe you mean 30 countries if you counted Pattaya as one.

Be careful if you're a tourist with those policies.  You'll get a world of grief from TVF for leaving your loot in the hotel safe and even more if you leave it in your room- in the safe or not.  You're screwed if you do, damned if you don't.

Personally, I like to keep enough cash to distract any thief from kicking my head in- because they're busy counting it.  Of course, flashing it would be stupid, but I've never heard that keeping some extra cash on me increases my chances of being victimized.

Gold chains are a different deal...

Why should he read the news?

He's on holiday.

Oooh dear! It was just that kind of comment that only can originate from your twisted mind.

People normally read the news in general. Not especially when on holliday. Many people also keep up to date with what´s happening in places they plan to or are travelling to.
Basically means that most of the people in the world know that it´s not advicable to go with an expensive gold chain or necklace night time in Pattaya.

Now you know and understand that too. Thank you for letting me educate you once more.

If, and it's a big if, the necklace was really worth 150,000. Baht...that would be much more than ten times the typical monthly wage in the area.

It's odd such a young tourist would have such a necklace.

It's odd the uniformed guys are farangs, I assume "Tourist Police" who have no authority and most often are on some power trip.

I don't think Siam Bayshore would be considered Walking Street? But I guess it's possible.

Is that CK tee shirt an original or Thai copy? Might be the biggest clue of all.

God Bless You.

I don't think CK would ever design something that tacky.

If you read the latest copy of a famous Bangkok publication online it has an article about 3 Street robberies in 2 days in Pattaya just lately, not that unsafe, you sure?
