The rise and FALL of Milo Yiannopoulos

Good riddance!

He's a self admitted super TROLL and has taken a ride to fame and presumably some wealth playing his hateful  games.

But the gig is up now.

It's all falling apart.

The rapid downfall began with a bizarre appearance on Bill Maher's REAL TIME.

Then it came out ...  his attitude towards pedophilia.

From that ...

First dis-invited from speaking at a major right wing political meeting, CPAC.

Then his YUGE book deal ... cancelled.

Perhaps Breitbart (where white supremacist alt right trump top adviser Bannon comes from) will fire him. I don't really care. Breitbart is so horrible that he seems like a great fit there still.

Gay alt-right provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos has been disinvited from the Conservative Political Action Conference after videos surfaced of him defending sex between men and boys and making light of the sexual assault of women.

The videos have also cost him a book contract with Simon & Schuster and are threatening his position with conservative website Breitbart.

As he's not American, he can just go back to the UK because his American political career is probably over.

Posted this not so much because horrible Milo deserves any more attention, but his story is BIG in the news and I thought some people might want to talk about him, so here's your chance if interested.

Wonderful speaker, intelligent, funny and usually right about most topics. His condemnation of PC stupidity and anti man feminism along with his withering attacks on the slogan led liberal hystericals  as been great. Before he came along nobody said much about idiotic safe spaces and trigger warnings on campus grounds, he said any student needing either should be expelled, he was right you go to university to be challenged to new ideas, not to have your prejudices protected. On the Bill Maher show he was against so called trangender men using bathrooms alongside girls, the PC idiots on there actually supported the idea, mm seems a bit 'pedo' that.

'He's a pedo' is the 21st c equivalent to she's a witch lets burn her, Milo is neither a pedo and has never supported it. It's what you do and how you treat people that counts, not slipping up over the way you said something that is important. He will be back of course, his book will get published and will be a best seller.

His views on Islam are correct

Update on the Milo story.

He "resigned" from Breitbart but did he really?

Word is that a large number of staff members threatened to quit if he didn't go away. So more like he was fired.

Now he says he will start his own media organization.

He can self publish his books and I'm sure they will sell just like people can't help themselves to look at a train wreck.

As far as his role in the "alt-right" and as a college republican club speaker ... it's hard to imagine that will be the same.

He has made his "career" on being hated so he's expanded that pool of people but he still has an audience, probably smaller now.

Anyway, there is a rich irony here. The right loved him because of his attacks on the left ... and made fun of the left for "denying" him free speech ... turns out the right thinks there is sometimes a limit to free speech as well, even the outrageous "alt right" witnessed by the Breitbart staff threatening to quit rather than work with him.

Detailing the rapid "fall" of super troll Milo.

But somehow I reckon he'll find a way to continue to cash in ... more people hate him now BUT he's also much more famous than he was a few days ago. But it's hard to imagine what audience he has now for public speaking ... but it wasn't about the speaking, it was about cynically exploiting the PROTESTS about his speaking that he was about.  But if nobody invites him anymore, that game is stifled.

Milo's rapid downfall did begin with the Bill Maher appearance so it's interesting to see Maher's thoughts on that:

Bill Maher Takes Credit For Downfall Of ‘Emotionally Needy’ Milo Yiannopoulos

“What I think people saw was an emotionally needy Ann Coulter wannabe, trying to make a buck off of the left’s propensity for outrage,” Maher told The New York Times on Tuesday, discussing the writer’s appearance on his show. “…As I say, sunlight is the best disinfectant. You’re welcome.”

Before I included the video of the extra web content with Milo. Here is the opening interview that was broadcast:

12 Things You Won't Read Elsewhere About Milo

1. Despite being tarred in the failing media as a white supremacist he has a penchant for picking up gay black men. For years he would leave late-night parties flamboyantly telling friends that he was “off to KFC” in the hope of getting lucky.

2. Milo is completely disorganised. Punctuality problems have been the cause of him losing many jobs. By “punctuality” we mean actually turning up daily. Only two years ago he was working for Sky TV in an inexplicable technology guru role. Briefly.

The guy got on my last nerves with his antics, but...

I listened to what he had said originally and to think he is a pedo is way off in my opinion. He spoke about his experiences and that he was sexual active when he was young. Let me tell you, when  i was 13 i could think of nothing else than sex. So his claim that 13 year old boys could have sexual desires was not wrong. And i looked at women in porn magazines that were in their 20s and 30s and if given a change, I would have partied with them.

From me no statements here about that being wrong or right. Also the age of consent, because just like he said, in Germany it's 14, so would that make it right? In japan it's even younger I believe.

I would love to see someone like Milo go down, but not for this, because even though he got forced into saying sorry, i don't think he did anything wrong. It's that feeling of being shocked/outraged that so many people feel entitled too. Don't get me started about victims of abuse, like he said that that would be OK.

It's not about whether he's pedo or not.

If you think that, you don't get it.

Milo made a career of provoking the left with "edgy" troll GARBAGE and became a celeb among the alt-right and other right wingers as well.

Even championed by trump (who outrageously threatened to cut federal funds to Cal BERKELEY because of riots when Milo was trying to speak there) and also close to dangerously powerful white supremacist trump insider Breitbart.

Then the pedo insinuations (which hilariously he did to himself) and it turns out Milo is a total hypocrite. Instead of going with it true to his "total free speech" troll self, he plays the "victim" just as right wingers always accuse left wingers of acting.

Then the alt-right and right wing DUMPS him.

Predictably of course because anything remotely smelling of child sex crimes tends to do that.

Anyone not alt-right and right wing ALREADY mostly hated his guts.

It's a bizarre chain of events but if anyone deserves to go down, it's this Milo character. End of.

To assert that it's "unfair" that Milo has gone down on pedo insinuations fails to get the incredible twisted beauty of the history of this ... provokes the left with hateful filth, the right celebrates him and acts like they're the champion of unlimited free speech, turns out, guess what, THEY ARE NOT.

As I said previously, anyone who tries to tell you that they’re edgy, or in Milo’s case ‘a dangerous faggot,’ is without a doubt not. His whole thing has been to say controversial things that are deliberately offensive and then mock his way out when cornered. I figure the only way this ever made him stand out from the millions of other insufferable people was that he decided to market it. In the past, these Walmart brand Oscar Wildes were content to snark from behind the straws of their cocktails about how bad drag queens were. Milo figured out he could make money off of it by not just making fun of people’s weight, but their race, gender, and sexuality and then packaging it as being the racist ‘cool gay friend’ for a bunch of racists.

So far he has not been able to 'come back'.  And people did not have to misquote him on what he said.  He was very straightforward about what he thought in regards to age of consent.  He just misjudged how what he said would be taken.  He makes his living on being the 'shock and awe faggot' that feels he can say anything he wants because he considers himself a minority.

I actually like watching and listening to him.  His appearances on Joe Rogan's show were my favorite, though in the 3 hour discussion format many holes and contradictions start showing up in his philosophy and practice.  Very smart and bitchy.  As much as I disagree with many things he claims, I would love to see him live.

I hope he's totally over. A "gay" British trumpist super TROLL .. who needs him?

Don't get me wrong. I support his right to free speech. Not the same issue.

But he's not a serious person. He's a troll and nothing out of his mouth is intellectually honest. So, OK, if there's a market for his CIRCUS act, similar to the potus turd that he worships, so be it.

People that make a big do about stopping him from speaking are actually his only hope to keep his troll clown career alive. So they really should stop it.

Yeah exactly.  The very things he complains about or rails against are the things that keep him in the news.  When the attention whore loses his attention he just becomes another tired old whore.

Another thing I hate about the Milo phenom if it is a phenom anymore is that anti-gay trumpists still use the support of Milo to push the big lie that the trump regime is a pro gay civil rights regime. They point to Milo often as a gay icon. Sickening! If Milo likes trump, you gays should be happy. Yeah, right.

Milo is, at a minimum, is an interesting person.   He is an attention - whore and most likely a narcissist.   It is not all that unusual for people to turn their backs on groups that they belong to.   People have committed acts of treason for less.

Many women are not feminists or even in favor of equal rights.   Gays are no different and those that have 'made it' or who have experienced no or few problems because of their sexuality have the 'while it didn't happen to me, so it doesn't matter' attitude.

In his case, he gets a huge amount of attention, which he thrives on.   I wouldn't hope for it, but if he found himself clinging to life while hanging on a fence post as Matthew Shepard, his attitude might change.

Frankly, given his behavior, it's probably much better to have him on the Alt-Right.   I doubt he would do much for gay rights anyway.

Is this guy really a bigot or someone pretending to be one for money and fame ? Will we ever find out ?

Either way, he is not a nice guy, is he ?!

Bigot means somebody intolerant of another views, i'd say that is most of his opponents as he is all for free speech and debating various important topics. The left just want to shout him down and label him a bigot or alt right just because they disagree with his views. When it comes to gay rights of course most of that work is in exposing the hatred, discrimination and illegality of homosexuality in the Islamic world, something he does well. At present he's in Australia I think, roasting feminists and lefty liberals, if you'll pardon the expression. He's on the rise again.

So that British SUPER TROLL has run off down under?
Good.

You can keep him.

Dude, you're not fooling me.

You don't care about the "rights of homosexuality".

It's not possible that anyone propping up that disgusting troll Milo really could be.

He has nothing to do with the gay civil rights movement.

He's simply an entertainer in it for the money and no I don't believe he'll ever be "on the rise" in the U.S. ever again.

Surely he's doing exceptionally well:  77 out of 80 items in his webstore have sold out completely.  They must be enormously popular.

The journalist is making some vast leaps to come to his conclusions.  I rather suspect he's prejudiced.

Doesn't that rather depend on how many items were in stock in the first place?
