Non B Year Visa Extension

Hi,

 

So I have a Non B Immigrant visa that I still have one entry remaining on. I am due to cross the border by the start of next month but I am actually giving up my work permit when it runs out at the end of next month and leaving Thailand.

 

Is it possible for me just to go and pay for an extension of 30 days to see me through to the end of my work permit rather than do the border bounce? Doing a border bounce is probably the cheaper option but I'd rather not sit on a minibus all day

There is no 30 day extension for a non immigrant visa entry. Only tourist visa and visa exempt entries can be extended for 30 days.

No. 30 day extensions are only available for tourist entries.

 

If you're the spouse or parent of a Thai you could get 60 days.

 

Otherwise the most you can get is 7 days to leave the country for 1,900 baht.
