LandOfWiles
Does anyone know if Thai visa offices will accept proof of onward travel with a date equal to the visa duration plus 30 days (based on getting an extension)? This will be for a SETV from Penang. I'm guessing they do not, but happy to be wrong. Edited February 25, 2017 by LandOfWiles
elviajero
Yes they do/can, but it's up to the individual embassy/consulate you apply at. Penang have only just started asking for flight bookings so I'm not sure what their policy is. The visa you're applying for only gives 60 days so they are in their right to insist on a flight out within 60 days.
LandOfWiles
Thanks elviajero. In that case, I think I will just call them in advance.

It would be a good idea to contact one of the agents in Penang as they will know what's accepted. Jims Place is one that's often recommended. Easily found via google.
