greatwhitenorth
This is the video of the build of of our 1100 sq ft, 2 bedroom, 1 bath with farang kitchen we built about 15 km from Sisaket. It cost me about the same as a 2 car enclosed garage in Canada. Sisaket is a decent size city with good restaurants, a night market that you can drink at, a Thai Premier League football team and Ubon airport is an hour away. chudless
Not that modern, more Thai style with a few falang fittings. The kitchen is Thai style with an extractor fan. Cost wise, if that is just build you were ripped off.

TGIR
Yes to all the positive comments. A nicely designed starter house. For about $36K U.S. that is a sweet deal. Congratulations and good luck making your dreams come true!
KhunBENQ
A nice contribution to the forum, thanks. I like the style and the flower garden in particular. No modern house without the traditional "foundation" ceremony. I have seen a couple.

For a million I would be happy for that to be my retirement home and personally set me a target to achieve. So despite any predictable negative comments can i personally say thank for posting. IAMHERE
Congratulations on a job well done. Nice house and if things went sideways not much money lost and you always get to keep the knowledge of how to build another. Thanks for posting.

Goanna
Here's our video. 3 bed, 2 bath, and twice the cost. I still have things I want to add, but quite happy with the place. Not rich by any means, as I just built from payday to payday. This is also in Sisaket, but south, near the border.

rijb
Op, looks like a comfortable house. It's well built, with nice attention to detail. The cost is fair. Now, you can just sit back and enjoy. We (my wife) built 3 houses. That was 3 too many, for me.

I think, you can have some much cheaper, in lousy Thai House Standart, with Corrugated roof, maybe this is your Idea.
