Considering how much stock is put in Fortune Tellers by many Thais (including the police), this is a smart move by the missing girls parents. Now they have to keep up the search.

No they won't. It's 3 to 1 say she drowned. And bib are cunning enough to realise what mum is up to but you can't blame her for trying
