Deposit from apartment

Recommended Posts

It depends. How many months early do you want to move out ? If only 1 month then likely you can get 1.5 months back less any cleaning/damage fees. Most apartments charge around 500 baht cleaning fee when you leave. If more than 2.5 months early then yes apartment has the right to keep the money to fulfill the contract.

Then you have no right to expect your money back. That's what contracts are: commitments to perform a certain act, you promised to pay for 6 months and they in turn promised to allow you occupancy. Ask them and see what they say.

3 months early,I  am afraid you wont get your deposit back,in fact you

would be lucky to get it back at the end of your contract, they usually

come up with all kinds of reasons why they will not repay the deposit.

that happens more than not.
