simon43
This is maybe a stupid question. But I can't recall ever hearing a Thai student stammer (when I taught in Thai schools), and nor have I heard a Myanmar student stammer in any of the schools where I have taught in Myanmar. Anyone experience a stammering student?
tonray
Yes I have had a few. It is a neurological condition, Thai brains are not somehow immune.
simon43
It is a neurological condition, Yes, I am aware of that. Thanks. My comment was that I had not encountered a student who stammered. Do they stammer on similar consonants that can cause problems for NES, such as 'b' and 'm'?

phuketsub
I've been teaching and working in the media for almost 30 years and I can't ever recall coming across a student -- or anyone else for the matter -- who stammered. However, the condition sometimes comes up when watching cartoons like Porky Pig and all the Thais seem to be very familiar with this condition.
