BANGKOK: -- A passenger on a minivan has said that she was bumped off a connecting journey because she was too tall.

Atiporn Bunkert, who is 175 centimeters tall, was travelling with her mum and dad from Nakorn Sawan to Chonburi via Bangkok.

All seemed to be going well until they reached Bangkok when she claimed she was informed by a member of staff that she would have to take another van because her "legs were impolitely placed and getting in the way of other passengers", she told Daily News.

She said she had all the correct tickets for her seats but was then told if she was not happy she could always sit on the roof.

She posted a video of part of her experience on Facebook and is now demanding action from the authorities.

She said that she was not causing any annoyance to other passengers.

I am 188 cm and I have never been refused or bumped passage. Granted, I will wait for the next van if the only seats left are in the last row as those are made for smaller people.

I think something else must of happened to make them want her to leave the mini-van. Something is missing from this story.

Sounds like a job for the TVF super sleuths - no case too big or small

Or maybe she was being a nuisance to the rest of the passengers and this was the only excuse they came up with to get her out...

We don't know the full story.

Is this an attempt at humour.. If it is I think you may have to work on it. If it isn't ..... well, say no more.

Joke!

Typical Thai response, "you can sit on the roof!"

They always have a pathetic response and answer...

'UP TO YOU', springs to mind.

Impoliteness is a very common occurrence in the land of

'SMILE AT YOUR FACE BUT STAB YOU IN THE BACK'. T. I. T
