lopburi3
Picasa still works fine for me - perhaps better to wait for cloud alternatives to mature rather than trying to make changes - can easily upload photos to Google Photos for storage and organization now. But for now prefer to stay with Picasa myself.
katana
Helicon Photo Safe (Free version) claims to be able to that. I downloaded it a while back but never got round to trying it out.http://www.heliconsoft.com/helicon-photo-safe-history-of-changes/
samuijimmy
A few members in the Photo Forum use faststone for editing and organizing ... http://www.faststone.org/FSViewerDetail.htm Free download might be worth a look.... I have made a link to the Photo forum, and left this topic here... for possibly more in put.
lopburi3
Thanks for that. A quick test drive of faststone is very positive for me. Especially appreciate easy ability to have full print control (size you want placed on paper where you want). Normal edit and crop controls seem to work well. Very easy to use. I think I did not re-install when I put a new hard drive in a while back ... (just assumed it would not work anymore even though you said some time ago you were still using it Ron). Picasa has a Mac version, whereas Faststone does not! Have to let the images to load into Picasa, then will try later!
Ron19
You may have to tell Picasa to automatically send to Google Photos. Not sure on that but will check when back on the comp.Sent from my iris 755 using Tapatalk
Riechs232
Many of the old Picasa users began to use other Picasa alternatives to view and manage photos on their PC. Maybe you can go and have a try too!
