Why would you click 'Like" if you neither like nor support the posting or comment?

To spread the post

Why would you want to spread something you neither like nor support?

Surely that would be the last thing you would want to do.

This is the situation for people living in Thailand. So for those who believe in free speech and expression, can either go ahead and think darn the consequences if they feel very strongly about it, or keep their heads down and just go along with the game. Westerners that come here with intentions of making Thailand their home should be aware what the rules are. No point in whinging once here. Two choices; either accept it for what it is or move on.

A weak minded, feeble, and absolutely astonishingly ridiculous conclusion. Accept it or move on? How weak. I do not accept things in my own country, that are draconian, and ill conceived. Why should I accept them here? Just lay down a die? Just take it like a stooge? Never. Absolutely never. Protest in you own way, but by all means do not take injustice lying down.

The Junta has decreed that existing laws may/can/will be used to prosecute viewers of objectionable material.

Use of a VPN may be used to identify potential "viewers".

According to Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) chief Thitirat Nongharnpitak, users of social media will be treading a narrow path as police plan to target viewers in the crackdown even if they do not interact with those illicit webpages.

Not much of a Facebook user if you don't know that clicking the like button once marks the post or comment as 'liked' and clicking it again un-marks it.

Anyone accidentally clicking, just needs to click again and the 'like' is gone.

If you are using a trackpad or phone, it's easy to do it accidentally.  Everyone knows how it works, but thanks for the tutorial anyway
