Sperm whales live and hunt in very deep waters. Has drifted in from the Indian Ocean helped by the recent cyclone in the Bay of Bengal.

My research shows that the  sperm whale is a mammal with a worldwide range and will migrate seasonally for feeding and breeding. Females and young males live together while mature males live solitary lives outside of the mating season.
