Sex for sale in Thailand will not just go away, but a lot of potential customers and sex workers may do so since they have other options anyway. The point is this is exactly the sort of thing the Thais would not do if they wanted to turn a blind eye to the sex tourism industry. Image is everything to Thailand and they are making a clear statement here about what that image is from now on. "Oh, it'll all be back to normal soon..."
