webfact Posted July 7, 2017 Share Posted July 7, 2017 Jobs to be created for returnees from Thailand By Thai PBS The Myanmar government is trying to create jobs in collaboration with the private sector for returnees from Thailand to escape harsher labour law introduced by the Thai government, said a report in the Myanmar Times Online on Friday (July 7). Union Minister for Labour, Immigration and Population U Thein Swe told the media on Wednesday that job creation will be the priority of the government. He explained that the Myanmar Investment Commission (MIC) would make it easier for domestic and international investors to invest in Myanmar while relevant ministries are implementing programs like better financial access for small and medium enterprises.
