Come to think of it, are there liquor stores in Thailand? Where does one go if you want something that's not behind the 7-11 counter?There are some lab chemical supply stores that have reagent-grade ethanol in big 2 liter jugs. Here's a pic I snapped the last time I went shopping there:They also had smaller 500 ml bottles too, but these didn't have the liquor tax stamp affixed so I'd be wary of drinking them unless there were some other sort of guarantee on the label.
