Johnson81
Hi, I'm currently on a career break in Thailand. I'm 35 and from England. By the end if this month I will been in Thailand for 10 months (leaving once in Jan for 30 days) My history of entry: 2 x SETV's from England and Penang (1 extended) - 5 months 3 x visa exempts (2 extended) - 5 months Prior to the last 10 months I have no real history of staying in Thailand, just the odd 2 week holiday once a year. My plan is to leave at the end of Aug, and wait 2/3 weeks before applying for a SETV in Hong Kong Based on this, and my history will I have any problems getting a SETV from Hong Kong? Regards, Johnson

Most likely not but be prepared for the possibility of the Thai immigration people asking about what you are doing in Thailand. Also be sure to have 20K Baht(or equivalent) cash available when seeking entry
Essecola
If flying back in, it is unlikely to have any problem, but would be good to have 20000 baht or $700 usd with you. Technically, anything can happen at an airport. Getting the visa itself should be painless.
elviajero
Getting a visa shouldn't be a problem. Make sure you have a good story for your extended tourism in Thailand as you might get questioned at length anytime you enter in the future.
