webfact Posted August 21, 2017 Share Posted August 21, 2017 Warning issued after foreign tourists stung by dangerous jellyfish on Pranburi beach Picture: Manager Officials have issued a safety warning after eight foreign tourists were stung by jellyfish at Pranburi beach. The eight tourists all required medical treatment at Pranburi hospital after being stung on Sunday. The Sawang Phaepaisan Thammasathan Foundation issued the warning after scores of jellyfish were found along a six kilometer stretch of beach between Pak Nam Pran and Khao Kalok, which is approximately 15 kilometres south of Hua Hin. Rescue workers said the Chrysaora jellyfish were found in the sea and washed up on the beach. Tourists, especially children, are advised to avoid the water.
