patricia carter
I will be in Thailand for 32 days in Nov./Dec.; if I am only 2 days past the 30 day limit, do I have to apply for a visit thru the Thai Embassy in the US? Thanks for any help on this. patsonoma
JackThompson
Although you can apply for a 30-day extension-of-stay to your 30-day Visa-Exempt entry at an immigration office in Thailand, when you try to board your flight, the airline may refuse to board you without a ticket out of Thailand within 30-days - unless you have a Visa. If you can get a visa first, which provides 60-days permitted-stay on entry, that would be the simplest solution - or change your flight dates.
