Patriot
Good morning, What are the legalities of placing or removing advertising banners/boards from public areas. I live down a moderately quite road in Kalasin with very little through traffic but every now and again we find an array of advertising boards wired onto (sometimes) every power post or street lamp on the 2 km stretch. The sizes vary from 9"x18" to up to 3'x8'. They look horrible. I have removed most of them early morning or late night. Now, if someone is advertising a local business down said road then I leave well alone, but these big ones are for Home Hub, TSF, Pizza Company and the occasional money lender .... no; not occasional money lender, they are the worst offenders. Surely, as is my argument with my wife, if they are dangling from power posts or street lamps they are in the public domain and like garbage, should be treated accordingly!! Any views. Thanks!! tonray
Just be ready to dodge the inevitable bullet or gang kicking when whomever is profiting from the boards (businesses and/or laborers paid to post them) catch you.
